This week one of the domain names I have been waiting a while for came available. Reportandaccounts expired and I was able to grab it! I use the popular snapnames service which at least grabs a domain for your quickly.
I could have left it to expire, but I thought that the name is great for an Accountancy type of blog, so anyway I've now got it and started the slow process of using it to build up my blog.

My plan is to post regularly on it about Accounting related issues and from there move on to listing 10,000's of companies on there with baclinks to our main Reporting and Accounts site, I think the strategy is a good one, but for this to work I need to build up the DA and PA of the site hugely, which will be my slow task for this year at the same time as working on link building for my main one.
